Role of
Face Mask in reducing Transmission of COVID-19
The novel widely spreading Corona
virus has changed the whole world ways of living, their economy. It has made
huge shifts in our lives. Living a normal life seems to be a dream far from
reality. One can just think of possibilities of future and that too is strictly
dependent on the government of individual country. We may slide into a better
future or into something worse. The statement is still a big question.
Few months from now wearing face
masks in the public was considered as being feature of extra vigilant reaction
of a human being. But now people without face masks are seen suspiciously on
the roads picturing them as fools and enemies of society in common.
Henceforth it will accentuate the
use of Non Woven
Fabric for Face Mask. These masks are proving to be high in performance
and useful in preventing respiratory infection and transmission of virus from
one person to another. These stripes of cloth tied around the face is
manufactured using non woven fabric made from
plastics to filter and protect. Available as per the customer specification and
requirement, these can be customized also.
The non woven material is considered as best for the face mask as they have better filtration efficiency than woven fabric. The reason being the non wovens material is manufactured from the fibers exposed on the yarn or thread surface. This gives the material the ability to individual fiber to capture the particles.
Considering the front line fighters
of today i.e. doctors, nurses and other health and safety workers, N95 Face
Mask is highly recommended. As this mask is manufactured by incorporating
complex layers of extremely fine PP fibers. It restricts the transmission of
even droplet size of virus particle inside the body thus ensuring the safety of
these health workers.
Hence to consolidate keeping in
mind the current scenario masks are the most urgent need of the society. They
will ensure survival of human species to some extent in this time of widespread
pandemic. Still one cannot rest his entire security on it, we have to undertake
other precautions like social distancing, washing hands frequently, avoid
gatherings and personal responsibility of isolating oneself as soon as he or
she get a sign or symptom of this virus.
The best we can do in this year is
to survive and make it to the next year alive.
